GSOP Live: Punta Cana

Bulgarian Bulldozer Leads Final Table Field
15/10/2011 @ by Duncan
Apologies for the delay guys, but it's a tough life being a poker blogger with Bet24.com and we've just had to sit through a gruelling four course meal in the five-star White Room with Lars and our GSOP Live Greece qualifiers. I know, tough life.

Now that we're back on the clock again, however, we have an official final table line-up and chip count for you along with the news of our unlucky final table bubble-boy. That man was Roman Herold who exited the fray €7,462 richer in 10th place after his re-shove with ran smack-bang into the of Sergio Marti Aguilar, with a decisive flop of ensuring that Aguilar and eight eager spectators could all bag up their chips for tomorrow's final.

When play resumes it will be Stefan Genchev who holds the chip lead on a massive 2.3 million, while Aguilar is his closest rival on 1.3 million. That duo are the only two players who will return with seven-figure stacks tomorrow, but all nine players are still well in the hunt and the full final table chip stacks are as follows:

Stefan Genchev – 2,347,000

Sergio Marti Aguilar – 1,305,000

De Lima Carvalho – 820,000

Ally Squire – 765,000

George Tzimas, – 737,000

Stylianos Pantelakis – 363,000

Timotheus Grall – 221,000

Dimitrios Vlahos – 179,000

Anders Vind – 139,000

We hope you'll join us again when we resume our coverage from 2.00pm on Saturday as the GSOP Live Greece looks to crown it's main event champion.
