Mad Marvin Follows Tricket Out Of The Door At Titan

German professional poker player Marvin Rettenmaier announced on his Twitter account yesterday that he would be parting ways with his long-term sponsors Titan Poker after the site decided to shed their entire pro roster.

The news comes just one day after fellow former Titan pro Sam Trickett announced that he would be leaving the site to seek out new opportunities and now means that Titan Poker has a completely empty roster of pros, despite both players’ profiles remaining on the site.

“@titan_poker has decided to part ways with its Pro Team,” Tweeted Rettenmaier – who has over $1.7 million in live cashes to his name since 2009 – after learning of Titan Poker’s decision yesterday. “I am very thankful for the opportunities and I had a great time representing them.”

Of course, with both Rettenmaier and his former colleague Trickett being players of considerable pedigree, there’s no doubt someone will make a move to snap them up sooner or later, but for the time being at least the ex-Titan duo are out on their own in the poker world without a sponsor.
