PokerStars’ Zoom Poker Gets Official Launch
Having seen the beta release of their new Zoom Poker game cause online traffic to sky-rocket in the past two months, online poker giants PokerStars.com have finally given the green light for the software to be officially launched.
Zoom Poker’s two month test-run – during which only low stakes no-limit Hold’em was available – resulted in over 300 million hands being dealt on the site and after being found to be bug free, the game will return with a far wider range of options.
According to PokerStars, Zoom Poker will now be available at stakes of up to $2.50/$5 and will also offer Omaha, Omaha hi/lo, and five-card draw tables, meaning that whatever your bankroll or favoured discipline, there’ll be a Zoom Poker table for you.
“Zoom Poker offers people a different way to play poker,” said Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu. “Recreational players, who want more constant action, will be able to fold instantly and wait for better hands, while pro grinders will be able to get in hundreds of more hands an hour.”
In addition to Zoom Poker’s official launch on the PokerStars client, Zoom Poker Mobile has also now been made available on the Android platform for players on PokerStars.com, PokerStars.eu and PokerStars.net and features new scrollable lobbies, auto-rebuy options and other improvements.
