Final Table Set For WSOP Players Championship
A fourth gruelling day of poker in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship has been completed and the 2012 final table has officially been set, with Mike “The Grinder” Mizrachi currently sitting in pole position for the final stretch.
Mizrachi will be joined in the eight-handed finale by recent bracelet winner Andy Bloch, US grinder Chris Klodnicki, English duo Stephen Chidwick and Luke Schwartz, maths genius Bill Chen, relative unknown Roland Israelashvili and French pro Bruno Fitoussi.
Given the high-roller buy-in of the event and the resultant quality of its 108-runner starting field, it should come as little surprise that the final table of this year’s Players Championship boasts such a talented line-up and it will no doubt be a compelling clash of contrasting styles.
With the next payout netting the 8th place finisher $169,879 and 1st place prize set at a staggering $1,451,527 – the first post-million payout of the 2012 Series – there will be a huge amount at stake today and with just two big blinds separating Mizrachi and Bloch, it couldn’t be any closer at the top.
With all that in mind, this is one final table that you probably won’t want to miss and the good news is that you don’t have to as wsop.com will be broadcasting the final table in its entirety on their live stream from 14:00pm local time.
