Mizrachi Endorses International Stadiums Poker Tour
With the International Stadiums Poker Tour set to make its much-anticipated debut at Wembley Stadium next May, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi has announced that he will be the official ambassador of the European-based tournament series.
Yesterday The Grinder, who won his second Poker Players Championship at this year’s WSOP, broke the news to the public by revealing on his Twitter feed: “I just want to announce I will be the @ispt_poker official ambassador. Will be one of the biggest tournaments ever held May 31, 2013.”
Of course, given the proposed timing of the event, as ambassador for the tour Mizrachi would be committed to missing at least one week of the 2013 WSOP, but The Grinder seemed unconcerned about the conflict when he added: “Not sure on dates for the WSOP yet. Might be early June!”
Certainly, with his profile within the poker world, Mizrachi looks a perfect fit for the biggest live tournament ever held given he is one of live poker’s most successful players of all time with over $14 million in career cashes despite having never won the stat-boosting WSOP Main Event.
