PokerStars WCOOP Radio returns
This Sunday the World Championshio of Online Poker (WCOOP) kicks off on PokerStars. The biggest online series of the year will once again be supplemented by PokerStars Radio. The daily WCOOP radio show, hosted by Joe Stapleton, Nick Wealthall and Matt Broughton will bring poker fans daily live coverage of the WCOOP, competitions and interviews with some of the biggest names in poker. ““We saw last year with the WCOOP radio show that poker players and fans love the format and really connect with the live interactive elements,” said Stapleton.“It provides a way for the growing poker community to share in the excitement of the most important festival in online poker.”
The show will be broadcast every night at 20.00 (BST) September 2-25 as players compete in 65 events for a guaranteed $30,000,000. Each show will be jam-packed with quizzes, competitions, interviews, live phone-in discussions, twitter posts and exclusive online tournaments for listeners, with more than $25,000 up for grabs.
