22 left as DTD Deepstack enters final day
Just 22 of the 910 players who entered the £500,000 guaranteed DTD Deepstack remain as it plays to a conclusion this Monday.
All of the players who return from 2pm are guaranteed at least £2,800 but that’s chump change compraed to the £110,000 that the winner will pocket. The loser of the final hand will trouser £65,000 whilst squeaking onto the podium will net that individual £43,000.
In pole position to net that six figure payday is Lee Taylor who has a stack of 5,660,000, which given the blinds will be 30,000/60,000/10,000 when play resumes is a very healthy stack indeed. He’s followed by Kieran Plater (4,250,000) and Danish Gandhi (3,505,000). Sharks lurking in the park include WSOP bracelet winner Matt Perrins (1,220,000), James Browning (1,345,00) and Stuart Fox (485,000).
When play began on Sunday there were 219 players remaining with 117 players getting paid. Those who cashed, but crashed out before the end of the day included: Paul Jackson (110th), Mike Hill (94th), Sunny Chattha (74th) and James Keys (23rd).
