Full Tilt relaunch gathers pace
We know that the Full Tilt re-launch is happening sometime before November 6th – as that is when Full Tilt Poker is committed to repaying non-US players as part of its settlement with the US DOJ.
But we don’t know exactly when, however the re-launch started to intensify yesterday as a batch of customers were sent emails requesting ID verification ahead of the re-launch. The email said: “As you are aware, Full Tilt Poker is preparing to re-launch by November 6th, 2012. Action Required: You will need to verify your identity to access your account. In the interest of account security and in accordance with the anticipated Isle of Man regulatory requirements, you are required to verify your identity. Providing valid documentation now will ensure that your account is fully verified and active upon re-launch.”
The legitimacy of the email has been confirmed by Full Tilt’s Poker Room Manager Shyam Markus and word is that only a fraction of Full Tilt customers have been contacted so far. More developments will undoubtedly follow in the common weeks.
