Tom Dwan speaks out about Lederer files
Whilst many Team Full Tilt members simply disappeared or stayed silent in the aftermath of Black Friday, Tom Dwan certainly did not. He appeared on the news in America, started a thread on 2+2 and generally kept the community up to date with what news he could as developments occurred.
When the purchase of Full Tilt was complete he promised, via twitter, that he’d do a blog or interview about Black Friday and the events surrounding it. However, that was not forthcoming but after watching the Lederer Files, Dwan decided to share his thoughts about the validity of what Howard Lederer said. He tweeted: “Just watched the last of the lederer files and then read andybloch's interview. I'm pretty confident the majority of what they said is true.” The American went on to say: “I knew a bit of stuff independently and what they said mainly lined up with that (although I thought howard emphasized wrong a few times).”
The high-stakes cash player added that his biggest gripe with the interview was that Howard didn’t realise how big of a mistake it was to still accept deposits after April 15th. To read all Dwan’s tweets on the matter check out his twitter feed @TomDwan.
