Jeremy Ausmus Pens Final Table Sponsorship Deal
When the World Series of Poker first conceived the November Nine break, it was with a view to turning the surviving finalists into household names and allowing them to secure lucrative sponsorship deals ahead of the tournaments resumption.
Now, while the November date may have changed this year, it would seem that the rest of the WSOP’s tradition remains the same as one by one the members of the 2012 Octo Nine have affiliated themselves with sponsors ahead of their date with destiny.
The latest player to put pen to paper with an online backer is Jeremy Ausmus, who has signed a deal with social media company TTAGIT Social Network Inc. and will now wear the company’s branding at the final table as he prepares to beat chip-leader Jesse Sylvia to the Main Event title.
Despite starting the final table with the shortest chip stack, Ausmus remains confident about his ability to turn things around with his new sponsors’ backing. “TTAGIT.com, a revolutionary leading-edge social media company, is ready to win the world over – just like me in the WSOP,” he said.
With a staggering first prize of $8.5 million up for grabs, TTAGIT.com will be hoping that Ausmus’s confidence proves well-founded and that the new face of their company will indeed to go on to life poker’s ultimate prize when the WSOP concludes at the end of this month.
