WSOP Final table starts today
At 16.45 local time (23.45 GMT) in the Penn and Teller theatre Las Vegas the famous phrase ‘shuffle up and deal’ will be announced. But this will not be just any ‘shuffle up and deal’ for it will signify the start of the 2012 WSOP Main Event final table.
And poker fans will be able to watch around the world as the action will be streamed live on a 15-minute delay on ESPN2, ESPN3 and WSOP.com. The final nine will play until just three remain, action will then pause once again and that triumvirate will then return at 17.45 local time (12.45 a.m GMT) on Tuesday 30th October to play to a winner.
It’s likely the winner this year will hail from the USA, as eight of the final nine are American, with Andras Koroknai, a Hungarian, the only possible non American winner. He starts second in chips, with 29,375,000, whilst Jesse Sylvia, has a stack of 43,875,000 and will start as chip leader. The full line-up, seat draw and chip counts are as below.
