Recent WPTAPL winners!

Denny Price (Moberly, MO) won his $10,000 WPT Main Event seat in April of 2010 when he became the WPTAPL National Champion. Denny beat out 652 players to win the title. As this is being written Denny is playing in the Bellagio Cup VI and we wish the best of luck to Denny. We are sure he will do great.

Johnathan Grego (Little Elm, TX) won his ticket to Hollywood to participate in the WPT Celebrity Invitational taking place in LA at the Commerce Casino in 2011. Here are some thoughts from a recent conversation with Jonathan “When I started playing Hold ‘em in 2006, I took to it like a fish to water…I believe that Poker is 75 percent skill, 15 percent timing and 10 percent luck…but in the end, it helps to have a little luck, especially when you’re playing against a loose cannon…In this day and age, poker is changing rapidly and the face of a tournament champion comes in the form of an avatar. I take great pride in knowing that I have been given a chance to play poker the way it was meant to be played, face-to-face. I look forward to playing in the WPT Celebrity Invitational.”
